The 20 Years ESI CEE Celebration will take place at the Earth and Man National Museum

Nestled in the heart of Sofia, the museum is housed in a distinctive architectural gem originally part of the historic Sofia Arsenal complex. Built in the late 19th century, it boasts pioneering monolithic reinforced concrete construction with anti-earthquake features. Renovated and declared a cultural monument, the museum's interior showcases the artistic vision of architect Hristo Ganchev and artist Ivan Radev. Noteworthy frescoes adorn the halls, crafted by artist Teofan Sokerov. After an extensive 18-month renovation, the museum welcomed visitors on June 19, 1987, offering a captivating exploration of minerals and national natural heritage.
